Taper Lock Bushes are precision-engineered components used to securely mount pulleys onto shafts. Their tapered design provides a strong, reliable and concentric connection while allowing quick installation and removal.

Features

• The most common type of industrial bushing is the Taper Lock Bushing.
• Available in Ferritic Grey Cast Iron (FG-200 MOC).
• All bush bores and keyways are manufactured as per British Standard BS 4235, Part 1:1972, and conform to ISO recommendations.
• These are flangeless or flush-type bushings.
• Enables easy and quick "shrink fitting" of pulleys, couplings, etc. onto shafts using only an Allen key.
• Slitting operation is provided by default in PIX Bushes.
• Available with finished bores and keyways in both metric and imperial sizes.
• Interchangeable across various products such as pulleys, couplings, etc.
• Changes in shaft diameter can be accommodated by using an alternative bore bush.
