PIX Banded belts are manufactured with classical, wedge and   narrow -V section belts with a strong tie band over them. Banded belts can be manufactured both in cut edge and wrap construction.

The band over the belts gives the extra lateral rigidity to the belts eliminating the problem of belts whipping over the pulley.

The band not only helps in even distribution of load among the belts but also prevents twisting of belts in the pulley. The maximum 5 belts are recommended under one band.

Banded belts includes sections as HA, HB, HC, HD, HSPZ, HSPA, HSPB, HSPC, H3V, H5V and H8V. The standards followed are ISO 5290, ISO 5291 and BS 3790.

These belts are best suited to sustain severe vibrations, extreme shock loads and pulsating loads.

Special applications includes crushers, Conveyor systems, generator sets, v-flat drives, compressors, vacuum pumps, agitators, vertical shaft drives besides general agricultural and industrial application.
